The West African Development Bank (BOAD) will support Niger's Economic and Social Development Plan (PDES) spread over a 5-year period (2022/2026) for an estimated amount of 450 billion FCFA (686 million euros). At least that's what the information published on the website of the autonomous specialized institution of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) reported on Monday, December 12, 2022. The resources will be used to contribute to the financing of the priority sectors defined in this plan, such as education, food security, agriculture and infrastructure.
