The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) presented its annual report on Wednesday.

246 billion CFA francs in transaction value, against 136 billion in 2019, the exchange common to the WAEMU States performed. This was welcomed by its managing director, Edoh Kossi Amenounve.

The figures speak for themselves: a market capitalization of the 46 listed companies of 4.367 billion, 80 bond lines for a capitalization of 6.051 billion.

Despite the health crisis, morale is geared towards optimism.

The BRVM is full of projects such as broadening the rating by attracting new stocks, particularly technological ones, encouraging institutional investors to increase their presence on the market or setting up a specialized regional datacenter for institutions in the regional financial market.

Finally, the Bourse plans to launch an economic and financial channel, BRVM TV.
