The president of the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, Emmanuel Kasarhérou believes that the imminent return of the 26 cultural properties to Benin is an act of justice. According to him, the routing process starts in the 4th quarter of 2021.

"It's an act that is ultimately intended to be an act of justice," says Emmanuel Kasarhérou, received on RFI's "Invité Afrique" program last Sunday.
He informs that these works will be transported from the Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac Museum to Cotonou from the fourth quarter of 2021.

“It is up to the Benin side to define the precise timetable. And from the precise calendar, we implement a retro planning which allows us to implement both the practical and technical methods of the return of these works, but also the events which will take place in Paris and Cotonou for the departure and reception of these works, because it is a historic moment," he said.
At the end of his mission in Benin, Emmanuel Kasarhérou, President of the Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac recognized and welcomed the efforts made by the Government of Benin for the successful outcome of this process.
