In Rwanda, the government announced a record harvest of $3.7 billion in investment in 2021. Despite the global crisis, the land of a thousand hills is whetting investors' appetite more than ever.

The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) recorded $3.7 billion in investments in 2021, a record for this East African nation whose international offensive has distinguished itself in recent years. Last year, foreign and domestic direct investment amounted to $1.3 billion, an increase of about 185 percent, according to the latest figures from the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) released on Tuesday ,April 5. This is a level never reached for this landlocked East African country with 12.7 million inhabitants.
