The 8th edition of the UEMOA Banking and SME Fair is scheduled to take place from 7 to 10 February 2023 in hybrid mode. The announcement was made in Lomé last November.

The theme selected for the 8th edition of the UEMOA Banking and SMEs Fair is entitled “financing and investment of UEMOA SMEs, facing crises and economic changes”. The Togolese capital will host the sub-regional meeting with participants expected in person and virtually. The event is part of the dynamic of giving new life to Micro-Small - Medium-Sized Enterprises and Industries (SMEs/SMIs) in the zone.

According to an official note, “in an effort to always promote highly accessible, and non-profit participation in the UEMOA Banking and SMEs Fair, the hybrid mode will allow several SMEs to take part, online or on campus in their country.” The show will be broadcast through dedicated channels and its media partners.
