The reliability of the units and the deployment of logistics flexibility during the third quarter, made it possible to double (94.5%) the turnover at the end of June 2019 (39.5 billion FCFA) to 76.8 billion at at the end of September 2019, but down 17% compared to the turnover at the end of September 2018 (93 billion FCFA).

The 3rd quarter of 2019 was still marked by the rise in crude bitumen prices, resulting from American sanctions on Venezuela and the significant drop in the bitumen price index (FO 3.5%) due to the tightening of environmental standards.

In this context, SMB obtained a positive operating result of 134 million FCFA at the end of September 2019 compared to an operating result of -1.258 billion at the end of June 2019.

In view of this environment, the result from ordinary activities at the end of September 2019 stood at -667.8 million FCFA against 7.073 billion FCFA at the end of September 2018.
