The same source reports that the market capitalization of the equity market in 2019 decreased by 2.14% compared to 2018 to 4,740.60 billion FCFA against 4,844.51 billion FCFA in 2018.

In 2019, the stock Onatel BF closes the year at 2,705 FCFA with a market capitalization of 183.94 billion FCFA of all shares Onatel.

"The volume of transactions decreased by 49% to 878,490 shares excluding the impact of the 3,400,000 shares sold to ITISSALAT AL MAGHRIB SA (Maroc Telecom) by the STATE OF BURKINA FASO in 2018.

The value of all < span class="dj_article_plain">Onatel BF traded in 2019 amounts to 3.2 billion FCFA down 74% without the value of the 3,400,000 sold to ITISSALAT AL MAGHRIB SA," it said.

The average share price Onatel BF for the 249 trading sessions of 2019 fell by 6% to 3,770 FCFA.

The largest increase in the price was recorded on 08 and 09/05/2019 at 4,900 FCFA while that of the sharp decline was reached on 05/12/2019 at 2,600 FCFA.

"For the four annual revisions of the Brvm Index Top 10, the stock Onatel has remained in the Top 5 for more than five consecutive years and ranks it among the safe havens in the market.

At the end of our 2018 financial review, West Africa rating agency (Wara), states on its regional scale, the rating of Onatel-SA to "BBB" with the outlook "stable".

This investment grade rating always allows Onatel to issue on the market without guarantee", informs the same source.
