Côte d'Ivoire, the leading economy in WAEMU with a GDP of nearly 60 billion dollars, will seek a loan of 105 billion FCFA (160 million euros) from investors in the region on December 29.

To this end, the country will issue on the public securities market of the region assimilable treasury bonds (BAT) with maturities of 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.

With a nominal cost of 1 million FCFA, the subscription of BAT will be by auction and at multiple rates.

The operation is open to any natural or legal person, resident or not of WAEMU. Investors wishing to subscribe to the operation must submit their submissions on 12/29/2020 at 10:30 a.m. UT through the SAGETIL-UMOA application.
