Since Monday, March 25, 2024, Cotonou constitutes has hosted the annual meeting of the directors general of the National Statistical Institutes of the ECOWAS Member States.

The meetings of the annual meeting of directors general of national statistical institutes began yesterday in Benin. On this occasion, the Project for Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in West and Central Africa (PHASAOC) will be launched. The 2024 annual work programme; the methodological guide for the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HPC) in the ECOWAS region; and the common regional methodological guide for the compilation of annual national accounts in ECOWAS member states according to the 2008 System of National Accounts (SNA 2008) according to the 2008 System of National Accounts (SNA 2008)
