Russia: the upper house approves the mutual defense treaty with North Korea

The upper house of the Russian Parliament is due to ratify on Wednesday a mutual defense treaty with North Korea, whose soldiers are about to go fight, alongside Russia, Ukrainian forces alongside Russia, against Ukrainian forces, according to Kiev and Washington. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Monday evening that 11,000 North Korean soldiers were already in the Russian region of Kursk.

Floods in Spain: the government unveils a 10.6 billion euros aid plan
