Cameroonian Jacques Edjangue has been appointed Vice President in charge of People and Talent Management by the African Development Bank (AfDB).

Edjangue is a seasoned, high-level executive. He has had 28 years of experience in multilateral institutions, including 21 years at the African Development Bank Group. He was acting vice president in charge of People and Talent Management. He also had to serve as acting director of the Human Resources Department and director of the Bank Group's Language Services Department from June 2020 to June 2022.

In fact, Edjangue joined the BAD in 2002. He became head of division there in 2011, and held the position of Director of the Bank's Language Services from 2017. “I look forward to giving new impetus to ongoing reforms and accelerating the deployment of institutional strategies and priorities for people management.”
