For a corruption case involving an amount of 8 million euros, the eldest daughter of the late President Omar Bongo, Pascaline Bongo will be tried by the French courts in January.

Pascaline Bongo was her father's chief of staff until his death in 2009. She is suspected of having agreed to intervene in favor of Egis Route to award public contracts against the promise of 8 million euros. And will be judged for passive bribery of foreign public officials.
