On Thursday, March 28, five experts from the Central African Energy Pool (PEAC) Regional Project Acceleration Unit (PEAC) were officially installed in their positions in Brazzaville.

The mission of the new experts installed is to seek the financing necessary to carry out forty-one projects related to electrical installations in Central Africa. Over the next five years, the experts of this unit will have to work to mobilize donors around forty-one regional projects whose total cost is estimated at 14 billion euros, or about 9,157.6 billion CFA francs. Four of the six expected experts have already started the work since last February, including the energy expert, the financial expert, the legal expert and the environmental safeguard expert. The fifth expert in charge of procurement will start working on 1 April, pending the recruitment of the sixth expert in social security.
