From Monday 22 to 26 April 2024, Lomé is hosting a seminar organized by the International Insurance Institute (IIA). Since yesterday, participants have been following communications and sharing experiences on best practices and commitments in the field of insurance company liquidation

The seminar organized by the IIA focuses on the theme “the procedure for the liquidation of an insurance company, persons involved and the roles of national insurance directorates” .According to Sawadogo Pegwem, trainer at this seminar, said that the forty participants, all supervisory executives of national insurance departments of Member states of the Conference of Insurance Markets (CIMA) will see how to implement a number of measures when a company is in difficulty to avoid liquidation
