Depuis le lundi 6 mai 2024 des experts et cadres des universités de 20 member countries of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OEACP) are considering the issue related to creation of national funds for Research and Innovation (R&I)

The workshop held in Lomé is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education. This meeting aims to help participating countries improve the quality and effectiveness of their research and innovation policies and ecosystems. At the end of the activities planned for this third day, a manual will be developed to strengthen the effectiveness of financing instruments. These three days allow them to explore specific research and innovation themes. This exercise aims to strengthen the capacities of participants, drawing on the experiences of countries that already have a fund in this area. This exercise also provides an opportunity for countries with established funds to present their experiences and explore the necessary adaptations.
