The agreement between RAM and the Senegalese Mourides Brotherhood aims to facilitate the movement of community members and pilgrims to religious sites. This new agreement, which is a continuation of previous agreements, reinforces the advantages offered by RAM on its flights, as well as the services adapted to the needs of the Mouride community. In particular, the convention provides for the establishment of special arrangements on the occasion of the annual pilgrimage to the holy city of Touba (located 200 km from Dakar), as well as the repatriation of the remains of members of the community who died abroad

Selon Deputy Mayor of Touba, Khadim Sidy, relations between Morocco and Senegal are old and profound, especially on the religious side. Thus, this agreement aims to strengthen these ties by establishing a framework for cultural and religious cooperation, allowing communities in both countries to benefit from RAM services during religious occasions in Senegal
