Depuis hier, mardi 21 mai 2024 s' est ouvert le 21st seminar of the Francophone Telecommunications Regulatory Network (Fratel). Over two days, the actors discuss regulatory challenges related to the data economy

“Économie of data and digital services: what are the challenges of technical and economic regulation” in the Togolese capital, is the subject of discussion during the two days of the 21st seminar of Fratel. This meeting is organized by the Togolese telecommunications regulator in collaboration with the Agency for the Regulation of Posts and Electronic Communications (ARPCE) of the Republic of Congo. This was in order to explore the regulatory and technical challenges posed by the data economy and digital services. The participants of this seminar focus in particular on the future of networks and regulation, and on emerging markets for data and mobile payments.
