The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Islamic Development Bank (Bid) are satisfied with the acceleration of the implementation of the Agropole Sud project after a joint supervision mission carried out from 12 to 19 May 2024.

The implementation of the Agropole Sud project took place in three regions of Casamance, namely Kolda, Sédhiou and Ziguinchor. The objective of the mission of the ADB and IDB was to better monitor the projects implemented by the National Programme for the Development of Agropoles in Senegal (PNDAS). Mamadou Kane, Irrigation Engineer, Head of the AfDB Delegation, expressed the satisfaction of the mission on the state of progress of the infrastructures, which has improved a lot despite the constraints of implementation

According to a press release, the Minister of Industry and Commerce will visit the Adéane module construction sites on Friday, May 24.
