The vision of the bill is universal access to drinking water for populations in localities impacted by the security context and/or difficult hydrogeology in Burkina Faso. Indeed, the total cost excluding taxes of the project is estimated at eleven billion six hundred twelve million (11,612,000,000) CFA francs and the internally displaced populations as well as the host populations of the regions concerned will benefit from it. The project's direct intervention area covers eleven (11) regions out of the thirteen (13) that make up Burkina Faso.
