During the 8th edition of the African Anti-Corruption Day, which was held on Thursday 11 July 2024 in Abidjan at the auditorium of the Prime Minister's Office in Plateau, the Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire reiterated the firm commitment of the Ivorian Government in the fight against bribery.

Le Prime Minister of Côte d'Ivoire, Minister of Sports and Living Environment, Robert Beugré Mambé took stock of the efforts made by the State Ivorian to fight corruption. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of the protection of witnesses and whistle-blowers in this fight. Also, the latter highlights the existence of a law dedicated to this protection, as well as the creation of an Office for the Protection of Witnesses and Whistleblowers within the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. The minister also recalled the ratification by Côte d'Ivoire of the ECOWAS protocols in 2022, after those of the African Union and the UN in 2012. He also mentioned the recent adoption by the government of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy for the period 2024-2028, which includes specific measures for the protection of whistleblowers
