The director general of the Guinean Agency for the Promotion of Employment (AGUIPE), Mohamed Aribot and three of his collaborators are indicted for a judicial case involving serious charges of corruption and illicit enrichment.

The four top officials of AGUIPE are being prosecuted for alleged acts of embezzlement of public funds, forgery and use of forgeries, complicity and corruption, to the detriment of the Guinean State. They are forbidden to leave Conakry, Coyah and Dubréka without informing the Dean of Investigating Judges or the court office. In addition, they must file their travel documents, including their passports, with the clerk of the investigating office, no later than Tuesday, August 13, 2024. They must also report to the investigation office every Monday at 10 am and respond immediately to any summons issued by the judicial authorities
