The objective is to implement the Programme to Support Business Competitiveness and the Empowerment of the Population through Job Creation (CAP Emplois).
Le communiqué publié par la Bad mentionne que le financement est composed of a loan of 90 million euros from the Bank and a donation of some 2.3 million euros from the We-Fi trust fund (& laquo; Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative”) under the Initiative to Promote Access to Finance for Women Entrepreneurs (AFAWA). The CAP Emplois program will be deployed over four years starting in November 2024. Its objective is to strengthen job creation to improve the living conditions of the population and promote economic inclusion through entrepreneurship and skills development. It will be a question of encouraging the creation of new businesses, the growth and formalization of existing businesses, and better access to quality jobs for young people and women
.The program is based on three main areas of intervention. This includes complementary integration training (FCI), which aims to provide young people and women looking for work with the skills they need to access paid jobs, especially in very small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their region. Support for entrepreneurship, Souk Attanmia 2.0, which aims to extend access to support services adapted to the needs of various targets, especially women. This support also aims to facilitate access to financing from the Tunisian Solidarity Bank (BTS) and to develop the formalization of businesses by reducing social security contributions and by supporting entrepreneurs in the management and productivity of their
business.Le troisième axe est development of institutional capacities in order to maximize the impact of various interventions and to facilitate the design and implementation of reforms to improve the regulatory framework for entrepreneurship.
