The pan-African bank Ecobank announced the finalists of the first hybrid semi-final of the Ecobank Fintech Challenge 2024, which took place at the Ecobank Pan African Center in Lagos, Nigeria.

There are 12 fintechs who will represent the future of African fintech at the Grand Final of the Ecobank Fintech Challenge. The Ecobank Fintech Challenge 2024 attracted over 1,550 applications from 70 countries in Africa and other regions around the world. The finalists will present their innovative solutions during the Challenge Grand Final, scheduled for September 27, 2024, at the Ecobank Pan African Center in Lomé, Togo. In fact, 60 fintech startups have been integrated into the Ecobank Fintech Grant Program since its inception.
