L'unité de Guinée équatoriale de la banque Cameroonian Bange had a difficult year in 2023, with net profit falling by 19% to 4.2 billion FCFA (about 7 million dollars) and equity falling from 80.7 billion FCFA to ; 60.4 billion FCFA. Despite these financial challenges, the bank saw a substantial increase in its customer base, from 7,000 to 137,000 customers over the same period. This significant increase in customers could indicate a positive long-term outlook despite immediate financial setbacks.
