A national workshop for the coordination of state-private sector dialogue sectoral joint frameworks opens today Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at the Pullman Hotel Abidjan-Plateau. It is organized by the Executive Secretariat of the State-Private Sector Coordination Committee (Se-Ccesp) with the support of the German International Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ) through the project “Promotion of economic reforms

and investments-PROREI”.

The workshop, which will be held over two days, aims to lay the foundations for strengthened collaboration between the Ccesp and sectoral joint frameworks. In reality, many challenges exist in relation to the weak interaction with the State-Private Sector Coordination Committee. These include, in particular, the lack of communication around the activities; the difficulties relating to the day-to-day management of these entities, and the low valorization of achievements in the context of the coordination of public-private dialogue at the national level. In view of these challenges, the National Strategy for Public-Private Dialogue recommended initiatives to strengthen the interaction between the two entities

.

In addition, GIZ, through the Project “Promotion of Economic Reforms and Investments” in short ProREI, intends to join the efforts of the Ccesp and the government to strengthen the animation of public-private dialogue. The ProREI project falls within the framework of the third theme of the key axes of Ivorian-German bilateral cooperation, namely “sustainable economic development, training and employment”. The objective of the project is to strengthen the capacities of ecosystem stakeholders by supporting the implementation of key reforms that should allow structural transformation and improved competitiveness.
