The president of the High Authority for Audiovisual and Communication (HAAC), regulator of the Togolese media, Pitalounani Telou announced that Togo will take the presidency of the Platform of Audiovisual Regulators of the Member Countries of UEMOA and Guinea (PRA- UEMOA -Guinea

Togo was chosen as part of the rotating president at the head of the platform of audiovisual regulators. According to the president of the HAAC, this responsibility will allow the institution “to conquer new horizons, because HAAC-Togo is eagerly awaited at the level of REFRAM, the French-speaking network of media regulators, and at the level of RIARC, the network of African communication regulatory bodies”. Togo will officially begin its functions on the occasion of the 11th General Assembly of Audiovisual Regulators of the Member Countries UEMOA of and Guinea from this Wednesday 28 to Saturday 31 August August 2024.
