Le ministère Malagasy Department of Economy and Finances published a report on Thursday according to which Madagascar will benefit from financial support of 50 million units of account, or about 67 million dollars. , from the African Development Bank (AfDB).

Financial support from the AfDB will be used to implement the Financial Management and Economic Resilience Support Program. The objective of this program is to improve public financial management and strengthen competitiveness, in order to ensure sustainable growth and more effective financial governance for the country. It also aims to strengthen the resilience of the Malagasy economy in the face of external and internal shocks. Also, one of the objectives is to increase the share of renewable energies in the country's energy mix, with a target of 55%, against 45% currently.
