Le Conseil du Groupe from the African Development Bank (AfDB), granted a loan of 108 million US dollars to Zambia. It was during a meeting held in Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire on December 11, 2024

The financing provided by the AfDB will enable Zambia to implement the Fiscal Sustainability and Economic Resilience Support Programme. This initiative aims to build a resilient and diversified Zambian economy by strengthening the country's economic governance and by implementing sector reforms. The program will stimulate agro-industrial development to improve the country's agricultural productivity, increase production and supply domestic and international markets
