Abidjan, Proceeding with the laying of the first stone of the African headquarters of the dairy products company "FrieslandCampina" (manufacturer of "Bonnet Rouge" milk) on May 16, 2019 in Abidjan, the Ivorian Prime Minister, Amadou Gon Coulibaly, indicated that the choice of Côte d'Ivoire demonstrates the attractiveness of the Ivorian destination and the confidence that the Group's managers have in Côte d'Ivoire.

"The establishment of the Africa headquarters in Côte d'Ivoire is a sign of the confidence that the Group places in our country and above all its desire to play a major role in the industrialization of Côte d'Ivoire, in order to contribute to the creation of wealth and jobs”, said the Prime Minister.

For Amadou Gon Coulibaly, reforms for an economic climate and governance conducive to business have made Côte d'Ivoire a destination of choice for investment in Africa.

The Head of Government reassured the heads of the Government Support Group. He encouraged them to continue to focus on the quality and competitiveness of their activities.

FrieslandCampina's future Abidjan office will cover 42 African countries.
