Bank of Africa plans to issue 10,000 perpetual subordinated bonds with a nominal value of 100,000 dirhams each for a total amount of MAD 1 billion. This program is scheduled from June 19 to June 21.

The issuance of perpetual subordinated bonds is divided as between a “A” bracket with perpetual maturity and at a rate that can be adjusted every 5 years, not listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, and a “B” bracket at perpetual maturity and at a rate that can be revised annually, not listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, and a “B” bracket at perpetual maturity and at an annual rate that can be revised annually, not listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange. The objectives of this program are multiple. This issuance aims to strengthen BOA's equity to improve its financial strength, while supporting its growth by financing strategic initiatives and long-term development projects.
