Des entreprises béninoises ont suivi du lundi 22 au 23 juillet dernier, a training workshop on the theme “How to export with the AfCFTA?” ”. The workshop was organized by Chamber la of Commerce and Industry of Benin (CCI Benin), in collaboration with the ITC (International Trade Centre) and the support of IFTC (International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation) and Afreximbank.

L'atelier de formation qui s' est tenu à l' hôtel du Lac à Cotonou a pour vision d' outiller les Beninese companies to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The two-day workshop brought together twenty trainers from CCI Benin, the Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Exports (ApiEx), Beninese Customs, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce etc. They are trained on the outlines of the AfCFTA and the opportunities it presents for Beninese businesses. In addition, these trainers, in turn, provided training to Beninese business leaders on the various steps to follow to successfully export to the African market. The objective of this workshop is to contribute to boosting the Beninese economy by stimulating exports and creating jobs
