Indeed, the Program to Promote Efficient Lighting Lamps is in the process of transforming the use of energy in Senegal, benefiting nearly 700,000 households and 80,000 small businesses in the regions of Dakar, Thiès and Diourbel, according to the press release. The project will provide significant energy savings, reduce electricity costs and reduce carbon emissions. Over the period 2019-2024, the Bank committed approximately $6 billion to energy projects across Africa
