Du 24 au 25 juin 2025, Cotonou will host the 5th edition of the Cyber Africa Forum (CAF), an influential platform dedicated to the analysis of digital issues and cybersecurity in Africa

.

Organized under the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Digital and Digitalization of Benin, the event will bring together the highest authorities in the region, CEOs of leading companies, startups disruptive, and much more, during two days dedicated to digital resilience and the strengthening of public-private collaboration.

Selon Marc-André Loko, Director General of the Information and Digital Systems Agency (ASIN), “The Cyber Africa Forum is a strategic opportunity ; vital to strengthen cybersecurity at the regional level, while consolidating our commitment to positioning Benin as a key player in digital security. We are excited to participate in its fifth edition and determined to share our expertise on the challenges and opportunities of the African cyber landscape.” This edition of the Forum will continue to address the role of inclusion through initiatives such as Cyber Africa Women, which aims to promote women's participation in the digital sector.

According to Yena Kignaman-Soro, Deputy Commissioner General of CAF, “through this edition, we aim to catalyze a digital transformation that is secure, sustainable and in perfect alignment with African challenges. With a focus on artificial intelligence, we seek to unleash Africa's innovative potential. Our aim is to ensure that young people and women play a central role in this evolution, not only as beneficiaries, but also as key players who are shaping the digital future of the continent.”
