The Director General of the Center for the Promotion of Investments in Côte d'Ivoire (CEPICI), Solange Amichia, held a working session with SEM José Carlos De Araujo Leitao, Ambassador of Brazil to Côte d'Ivoire, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, to announce the colors of the Ivoria-Brazil economic seminar scheduled for February 3 and 4, 2025 in Ivory Coast.

This event will be an opportunity to highlight investment and cooperation opportunities in several key sectors, including agriculture and industry. According to Ms. Amichia, Côte d'Ivoire wants to strengthen its productivity to achieve food self-sufficiency by 2030. To this end, the country intends to draw inspiration from the Brazilian model. During this seminar, agreements are also planned between Apex Brazil and CEPICI, as well as between Apex Brazil and the Côte d'Ivoire Export Agency, in order to share “best practices” and facilitate Ivorian exports, especially to sub-regional and European markets

Sem José Carlos De Araujo Leitao, for his part, underlined the considerable agricultural potential of Côte d'Ivoire. He also affirmed that, given the geographical similarities between the two countries, Brazil is a privileged partner for the improvement of agricultural productivity in Côte d'Ivoire
