The National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines is undertaking an ambitious overhaul of its Petroleum Geographic Information System (SIGP), nearly 14 years after it came into service.

Le projet qui a été confié au cabinet Geomatic pour un budget de 3,5 millions de DH, aims to modernize existing tools, optimize the management of petroleum data and strengthen the capabilities of geographic analysis, while adapting to international oil industry standards. A strategic advance is therefore expected to improve process efficiency, collaboration between the various stakeholders and decision-making support.

For last January, the mineral exploration company reveals a total of 17,034 m of drilling completed. 11 diamond drilling rigs and one reverse circulation drill rig are currently operating in Boumadine. Two others are expected to join them later in accordance with its 2025 drilling program.
