At the opening of the Environmental Innovation and Technology Award (PITA) gala last Friday, Nelma Caetano, considered innovation and technology as indispensable tools for sustainable waste management and for building an economy circular.

La President of the Board of Directors of the National Waste Agency (ANR) indicated that supporting these solutions is a collective responsibility and not only a necessity. She announced that she was working to strengthen public policies in the area of waste management and encourage sustainable practices, promoting partnerships and initiatives that add value to the sector. For her, the support for the initiative reflects the commitment to create an environment conducive to the development of technological solutions applied to waste management and the circular economy.
