Les customers of Nigeria's main commercial bank, Access Bank, experienced banking service disruptions over the weekend. In a statement released on Sunday after hours of disruptions, the bank announced the resolution of the service interruptions.

Access Bank , announced that its customers can now transact online, withdraw money from ATMs, ATMs, and make payments at points of sale with its ATM cards. The bank said in a short message on X on Sunday evening: “your Access Bank cards are operational again. Now you can transact online, withdraw money from ATMs, and make payments at points of sale with ease! Thanks for your patience.” The bank had previously announced that there would be a temporary interruption of banking service on Sunday, from 3 am to 2 pm, due to an upgrade in the banking system.
