call for expressions of interest.The project was raised during the recent speech on the state of the nation by the new president John Dramani Mahama. “We are going to reopen a transparent call for expressions of interest in order to invite competent and well-established partners to work with us to create a national airline. We believe that an efficient national carrier can help reduce fares on routes where outside carriers currently have a monopoly,” he said.
The new carrier should support government policies to establish a value chain in order to better develop the airline sector.
