AgriEdge, an investment fund of InnovX (OCP's innovation hub in food security and energy transition, affiliated to UM6P) was established in Canada in 2024 under the name of Agriculturix. This year, it is its expansion by planning to open two new subsidiaries, in France and Senegal.

AgriEdge plans to support farmers with its digital solutions. Its ambition est d' établir des antennes sur chaque continen t. This expansion has a twofold objective. The first is to get closer to farmers to better support them using digital tools, and the second is to acquire new expertise in order to enrich their AgTech know-how. AgriEdge offers innovative solutions to improve and estimate agricultural yields, in particular through the management of fertilization and phytosanitary treatments. Through the integration of its new technologies into agriculture, the company contributes to the transition to precision, more efficient and sustainable agriculture.

In reality, AgriEdge will set up its subsidiary in Montpellier in France, a strategic choice that will allow it to expand throughout France and beyond, in Europe. The objective of this establishment is to adapt its solutions to the specific needs of European farmers, by integrating advanced technologies for more effective crop management and optimization of agricultural inputs.

Au Sénégal, AgriEdge plans to strengthen its presence by opening a dedicated subsidiary there. The mission of this new entity will be to deploy all company services in sub-Saharan Africa, a region where agriculture plays an essential role in the economy.
