The net international reserves of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) reached 47.393 billion dollars at the end of February, up from 47.265 billion dollars at the end of January of the same year, marking an increase of 128 million dollars.

Egypt's international monetary reserves recorded a slight increase to 47.393 billion dollars in February 2025, against 47.265 billion dollars in January 2025, an increase of 128 million dollars, an increase of 128 million dollars according to a press release published on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 by the Central Bank of Egypt (ECB).

These reserves, mostly in foreign currency and gold, had crossed the $40 billion threshold for the first time in March 2024 after the partnership concluded with the United Arab Emirates around the Ras Al-Hikma megaproject.
