Le vendredi 7 mars 2025 s' est tenu au administrative center of Koloma, in the municipality of Ratoma, the ceremony to lay the foundation stone of the future si& Regrave; age of Ecobank Guinea. A key moment in the history of the institution according to its director general.

The project, which aims to create a pleasant and inspiring working environment for the 300 employees of Ecobank Guinea, extends over 6,000 m² of land. It is located between the United States Embassy and the future Turkish Embassy, on the Koloma Plateau. This building will have five floors. The project was designed around two strong symbolic inspirations, in particular the jembé, representing West African culture, and the torch, echoing Ecobank's ambitions to guide the Guinean banking sector. In addition to offices, the building will offer wellness areas for staff, including a fitness room, a place of worship, a canteen, an infirmary, and a conference room. According to Diawadou Bah, CEO of Ecobank Guinea, the laying of the foundation stone for the future headquarters marks a key moment in the history of the institution. For him, “this building symbolizes our unwavering commitment to our country, as well as our desire to contribute significantly to its economic and social development

.”

For his part, the Minister of Urban Planning, Housing and Regional Development, Mory Condé believes that this project fits perfectly into the development dynamics of the site of Koloma, which will soon house the administrative city, several embassies, the National Assembly, as well as other headquarters of companies and financial institutions. He therefore encouraged other banks that had not yet started building their head offices to follow in the footsteps of Ecobank
