In order to consolidate the fabric of Senegalese SMEs by strengthening their resilience in the face of market changes, the Islamic Recovery Fund (FIR) has invested 586.5 million FCFA in five Senegalese companies operating in strategic sectors.

The Islamic Recovery Fund (FIR) is the subsidiary of the Sovereign Fund for Strategic Investments (Fonsis). The five targeted companies (Contanna, Dialibatou, By Tchico, By Tchico, Prozen Industries and Clinique du Littoral) stand out for their commitment to promising sectors. Indeed, Contanna specializes in the sale of high-end tea made from local ingredients. It contributes to the valorization of Senegalese agricultural products. The founder of Contanna, Adja Maty Sembène Fall, was particularly pleased with Fir's investment in her company: “As a company committed to the valorization of local products, this investment allows us to accelerate our expansion and to better structure our production chain. It thus offers us the opportunity to ensure better visibility for our products, to be available everywhere in Senegal and to contribute to the promotion of Senegalese know-how on larger markets,” she said.

Dialibatou, a key player in the roasting and marketing of Touba coffee, reinforces the competitiveness of an iconic product. For its part, By Tchico is a high-end textile manufacturing company, combining craftsmanship and modernity to promote Senegalese fashion. Prozen Industries plays an essential role in the preservation of fishery and agricultural products, thanks to the flake ice it produces. Finally, the Clinique du Littoral, a private healthcare establishment located in Saly-Ngaparou, is expanding its offer to meet growing health needs

The Director of Clinique du Littoral, Audrey Casahous, indicated that this investment allows them to take a decisive step towards the stabilization and development of our clinic.
