Kenya a abrité le 20 mars 2025 la 14th meeting Council of du administration of the African Fertilizer Development Financing Mechanism. This is an opportunity for African actors and experts to discuss the proposal to transition the current structure of the mechanism to the “African Fertilizer Development Financing Facility 2.0”.

This meeting takes place on the sidelines of the high-level conference co-organized by the African Development Bank (BAD ) on the theme “Increasing financing for smallholder farmers in Africa”, which ended on 18 March last year. Participants focused on developing innovative financial products attracting private sector investment, thereby strengthening the fertilizer supply chain, ensuring access to fertilizers for smallholder farmers, and promoting soil health interventions

The BAD , the coordinator of the African Debt Financing Mechanism Fertilizer Development, African Ministries of Agriculture, the Pan African Organization of Farmers, the Pan African Organization of Farmers, the Pan African Farmers' Organization, the Pan-African Farmers' Organization, the Pan African Organization of Farmers, the Pan African Organization of Farmers, the Pan African Organization of Farmers, the Pan-African Organization of Farmers, the International Organization for Agricultural Development, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the African Export-Import Bank, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the United Nations, Agra, Agra, the International Fertilizer Development Center and the International Fertilizer Association, took part in this meeting.
