Held under the theme “Digital Pathways for All,” the Global Digital Summit brought together global leaders, experts, and private sector actors to discuss digital advancements and their impact on global development. Adama KAMARA, Minister of Employment and Social Protection of Côte d'Ivoire. They shared the Ivorian successes in modernizing identification systems. It is an opportunity to explore digital transformations and their impacts on economic and social development.

Adama KAMARA a shared the Ivorian experience through the following themes : “les voie numé risks to prosperity: the role of institutions and finance”; “global exchange of knowledge on the modernization of fundamental identification systems and the provision of digital public services”. His interventions highlighted the technological advances in Côte d'Ivoire and their impact on the improvement of public services and social inclusion.

A noté que sous la direction du Maître Adama Kamara, Minister of Employment and Social Protection of Côte d'Ivoire, Côte d'Ivoire has implemented major reforms, in particular biometric enrollment for Universal Health Coverage (CMU). This program integrates the collection of biometric data, such as fingerprints, guaranteeing reliable and secure identification of beneficiaries. To strengthen this system, in July 2023, the Ivorian government launched a system for enrolling and producing cards on site in July 2023, then, in June 2024, the deployment of ten mobile trucks equipped with enrollment kits and printers. These initiatives have significantly accelerated the identification process, from 3.2 million enlisted at the end of 2021 to over 17.5 million

today.
