American bank Citigroup is in talks with several African governments, including those of Benin and Namibia in order to develop its activities.

Citigroup is refining its strategy on a continent where American banks are regaining their appetite. “Discussions are ongoing, mainly at the government level,” especially with Benin and Namibia, in particular with Benin and Namibia, where foreign investment is said to be on the rise, according to Grant Carson, who oversees Citigroup's operations in 64 countries without a physical presence.
