The chief of staff of the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Pascal Robin Ongoka, closed his meetings on June 26

in Brazzaville.

The workshop to present and validate the sectoral skills development strategy as part of the Integrated Agricultural Value Chains Development Project (Prodivac) allowed to bring together representatives of employers' and workers' organizations, to take ownership of the recommendations of the strategic document, and to strengthen the leadership of the collaborative platform. Discussions focused on the contents of the strategic document on skills development. On the occasion, the participants expressed their views on the data and guidelines proposed and issued strategic recommendations. They also collected the contributions and observations of institutions, social partners, organizations of the United Nations system and members of the steering committee in order to finalize, enrich and validate the document

.

Pour rappel, Prodivac is financed by the African Development Bank. According to her coordinator and representative of the International Labour Office (ILO) in Congo, Gloria Oket Ondako, the recommendations are the basis of the actions of the strategic document to identify skills in the agricultural sector. These strategic reforms strengthen the skills development system in the agricultural sector.
