As part of the Rural Connectivity Emergency Program, launched in April 2025, Fangoli Sokoro, a locality located in the Hambol region, is officially connected to the national network.

The program aims to reduce digital inequalities nationwide. The aim is to connect 210 localities by the end of 2025. Fangoli Sokoro is thus one of the first areas covered by the telephone network and high-speed Internet. An ANSUT delegation recently carried out a field mission to verify the proper functioning of the equipment and to dialogue with the beneficiary communities. The delegation first went to Dabakala, to present the pleasures to the prefect Coulibaly Sié. At this stage, the administrative authority welcomed this initiative by stressing its impact on the populations.
