At the end of the last trading session of the week, the activities of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) market experienced varying fortunes.

The total value of transactions thus fell to 835.518 million FCFA on Friday, August 22, 2025, compared to 1.012 billion FCFA the day before.

As for the market capitalization of the equity market, it increased by 17.135 billion, from 12,283.655 billion FCFA the day before to 12,300.790 billion FCFA the day before to 12,300.790 billion FCFA on August 22, 2025. That of the bond market fell by 15.993 billion, to 10,456.443 billion FCFA against 10,472.436 billion FCFA on August 21

The BRVM Composite Index thus increased by 0.14% to 319.04 points against 318.59 points previously. For its part, the BRVM 30 index remained stable at 154.80 points. As for the BRVM Prestige index, it rose by 0.03% to 132.12 points against 132.08 points

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.08% at 620 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 4.39% at 1 785 FCFA), Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.83% at 18 690 FCFA), SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire (3.27% at 1 265 FCFA) and Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.17% to 1,175 FCFA).

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied respectively by NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.67% to 560 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.05% to 710 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.05% to 710 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.05% to 710 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.69% to FCFA 560), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.05% to 710 FCFA)% to 1,265 FCFA) and ONATEL Burkina Faso (minus 1.67% to 2,355 FCFA).
