As usual, the Inter-Agency Asset Recovery Network for West Africa (Arinwa) organizes a general meeting every year as part of its functioning. During this meeting, the forum will take stock of its activities over the past year and identify future prospects. The meeting this year will be held from 05 to 09 December 2022 in Abidjan.

The 2022 edition of the Arinwa Annual Assembly will focus on the theme “Establishment and operationalization of an asset recovery body in Arinwa member states”. This meeting will bring together all the focal points of the seventeen Member States, the Technical and Financial Partners as well as organizations pursuing similar objectives. It will allow the Network to present an overview of the activities carried out during the year 2021-2022 and to set the outlook for the year 2022 and 2022.

Specifically, the participants will examine the results obtained in achieving the objectives of the Network during the period 2021-2022, identify the difficulties encountered in implementing activities and consider appropriate solutions. It will also involve promoting interpersonal meetings and exchanges between the Focal Points, evaluating the collaboration between the Network and its technical and financial partners, and raising awareness about the Network's expectations.
