The Minister of Youth, Yves Bunkulu Zola discussed with the delegation of the African Development Bank (AfDB) on supporting young entrepreneurs in the materialization of their projects on Friday, December 4, 2022.

The Youth Minister said that “ADB representatives wanted to see the various programs put in place by the government in the youth sector. This concerns the support of young entrepreneurs in the materialization of their projects, and in the creation of businesses in order to boost their autonomy and the national economy. This initiative does not only concern agriculture, but it is open to various sectors, particularly transport.”

For him, the BAD has already financed some youth projects in the DRC as part of the Youth Entrepreneurship Project in Agriculture and Agro-Business (PEJAB). He stressed that this project of the Government of the Republic extends over the entire national territory. In reality, the socio-professional integration of young people programme concerns all young people who are able to work, while the youth entrepreneurship programme consists of supporting young people in carrying out their projects.
